Hats off to women
Ever wondered how does she do it?
A woman of many talents that wears many different hats or performs many different functions within a family or community.
You really don't have to look very far to find one of those high functioning female or super woman. Women are praised for their multitasked abilities, but and I say but again, is it really necessary to profile as "Super-Woman".
If you should ask many of those women what do they enjoy most from their day or are they fulfilled by the things they do. You are most likely to get a response that indicates more of what they would like others to say about them. Is the opinion of others all that necessary to prove your value to society?
Don't get me wrong, being an upright citizen and contributing to the enhancement of your community is a good thing, but if it comes to the point that a woman has to value her self-worth based on the opinions of those around her then we are embarking on a sad trend.
One of the worst self inflicting guilt hat a woman can wear is that of a wife. Being a wife means you are committed to a relationship and willing to work with your partner as a functional team player. Not as his slave thereafter.
Funny enough, many women think that they have to show that they are in control and doing everything possible to please their partner isn't the right way to go. When the pressures of keeping up appearances, yes event with your partner is too burdensome, the body and mind collapses and the fun goes right through the door with the partner.
Being the on the go woman, involved in all kinds of activities from the kids to the union, is frankly just too much action. Without question, this kind of woman is missing some intricate details, she is always on the go and may never have the time to savour the details necessary of each activity. Rush, Rush, Rush. Being a great organizer is not always the best thing. For instance, what will she do if things are a little out of schedule or her structure is in array? Will she lack spontaneity or will she be able to cope with an unscheduled day? After all that planning and rushing around at the end of the day quality time and savoured memories are all that matters. Speaking of memories, will she also schedule romance and unwinding time as well?
Most woman spend little to no time on themselves, while others spend way too much time obsessing over petty thing and minute flaws. There you go no balance, either way too much or not nearly enough.
Nothing is wrong with looking pretty each day, but over doing it does not send a good message to others. Spending too much time grooming and little to no time taking care of matters that are important and leaving others to pick up your slack off is unacceptable. While beauty is important for appearances so is being on time which is being respectful of other peoples' valuable time.
There you have it on TAFLA says something on everything.
